Dragon Types

Earth
Earth dragons are the power-houses of the dragon world. Big, strong and muscular, they can be a bit scary when they lose their temper (which is often!). Earth dragons are very loyal friends and make natural leaders. They are carnivorous, and wonder what an earth vegetables are for.They do not have wings, which they are grateful for. How are they supposed to dig deep in the ground for those beautiful, sparkly gems if they have big, bulky wings in the way? They come in shades of brown, black, grey and green.

Air
Intelligent and wise, air dragons often ponder deep questions. This can often make them seem a bit airy-fairy, They love stationery and books. They are vegetarian. They are the smallest of the dragons by far. Even in their human they are pint-sized and spindly. This makes them the best fliers of all the dragons, and they flutter about in the breeze with an ease that makes them the envy of every fire dragon. Air dragons come in shades of blue, silver, grey and gold.

Fire
Fire dragons are quick tempered and fierce, but they are also extremely loyal and intelligent. They are the fire-breathers of the group, with their inner fire matching that of the hottest volcano. They are omnivorous, but prefer meat to vegetables. They are tall and lithe, and are very large in their dragon form. This means that they need magic to be able to fly, and can often struggle over long distances. They come in shades of red, orange, maroon, purple, yellow and black.

Water
Water dragons are bubbly and happy-go-lucky, making them the most laid back of all the dragons. They have tiny wings that help them paddle in the water. They are omnivorous and love to eat all kinds of seafood. Unlike the other dragons, they prefer pearls and seashells over the more ostentatious gems. Water dragons come in shades of blue, brown, green and grey.

Sun
A mythological dragon who is said to have been more powerful than all the other dragons put together. No evidence of their existence has ever been found.
